We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of woodworking tasks, including the construction, installation, and repair of structures, frameworks, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finished carpentry, with a strong understanding of construction safety standards and techniques.
Construction and Installation:
Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofing, and framing.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
Install windows, doors, cabinets, and other building fixtures according to project specifications.
Build and assemble scaffolding, and other temporary structures for work projects.
Blueprint Reading and Layout:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements.
Accurately lay out and measure for construction projects, ensuring precise cutting and fitting of materials.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience as a carpenter in residential or commercial construction.
Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
